This project was one of my first Press ads since I joined the Advertising world.
I was involved in all the steps from the brainstorming phase until the execution phase and my role was to design the font so that it looks like a French vintage Poster. ​​​​​​​

CAMPAIGN: CREATING HISTORY IN 2009

Abu Dhabi was hosting it’s first ever Formula One grandprix in November 2009, and Aldar, the developers of the Yas Marina race track briefed us on a campaign to highlight Aldar’s integral role in making this inaugural F1 race happen. I worked with the creative team from concept to creation of all the routes and on this particular route ‘Making History’ i created the whole thing right from compositing the images to aging them.

ONLINE ADAPTATION : SPREAD SOME INSPIRATION
Celebrating the many inspiring women living in the Arab world, Philadelphia's 'Spread Some Inspiration' campaign was held for three consecutive years since 2010, in conjunction with International Women’s Day. 
IDEA 
Women are invited to share their inspiring stories online, following which a select panel of judges shortlist the three best stories from the region. 
The public is then invited to vote online for the one story that inspires them the most. 
The winner receives USD10k to further her charitable cause, whilst the 2 remaining shortlists receive USD5k each.

KUSTAR (University of Science, Technology and Research ) is an independent, non-profit, research-driven institution that provides a world-class educational and intellectual environment. They are looking for outstanding faculty prospects with a commitment to innovation in teaching and research, who seek to push the boundaries of thought and want to help build the world’s next great university.  They seek candidates in all fields of engineering, mathematics, the basic physical and life sciences, and more. The campaign's goal was to attract prospective candidates.
EID GREETING CARD 
Our idea was to create something that goes with the vision of KUSTAR university where the receiver will learn something new about technology and research from this unique and innovative greeting card. 
The card has a mirror in the middle to help us read what is written on the right and left. The text is only readable through the mirror. We came up with this idea after we did some research and discovered that the first person who came up with the theory of Optic was Al Hasan Ibn Al-Haytham. He used the same approach that use KUSTAR to teach their students to build a new generation of scientist.

WO IS AL HASAN IBN AL-HAYTHAM 
While researching, we discovered that  Al-Hasan Ibn al-Haytham was a pioneering scientific thinker who made important contributions to the understanding of vision, optics and light. His methodology of investigation, in particular using experiment to verify theory, shows certain similarities to what later became known as the modern scientific method. Through his Book of Optics (Kitab al-Manazir) and its Latin translation (De Aspectibus), his ideas influenced European scholars including those of the European Renaissance. Today, many consider him a pivotal figure in the history of optics and the “Father of modern Optics”.
